Unfiltered is a social shopping platform that engages users to contribute selfie photos to online shopping sites to help online shoppers decide how garments look on a real person in various sizes vs a singular model body type.

User creates login information.

User inputs personal measurement and preferences so platform can match size and similar body type to crowd-sourced photos of garments.

The Reality
Women comes in different shapes and sizes and it's hard to be convinced how something looks when we can not relate our own body type to the idealized body type represented by brands.

INTERNATIONAL SIZING
And it's gets even more complicated shopping for international brands where the numeric sizes are different for each country.

What Currently Exists
The problem with online shopping is the risk in returns for retailers and the hassle of returns for consumers. Businesses best represent their brands with garments styled on ideal model figure. Typically one size for a range of size ranges.

BEACON TECH ALERTS PASSERBY
The user can enable beacon notification on their phone and receive specials if they happen to be near by their favorite store.

NOTIFICATION
Customer receives an alert for new season's arrival is in store or special perks to check out new merchandise.

Customer is invited to share the dress with a quick scan of the item.

Merchandise Scanned and Identified
Unique tagging system identifies the merchandise.

Customer selfies and share her look.
Amy is on her break and may not have time to purchase. She quickly snaps a photo save on her phone. Amy can decide to share the look with Unfiltered community or store as private to purchase later online.

The Plug-in tool
After logging in user can click on the Unfiltered button to populate images of real women in similar dress size to get a better idea how it may look based on similar height and/or body shape.

The view port then populates additional photos of people that have also tried on or purchased the dress helping other women to better decide their shopping purchase.

Fashion + Tech Global Competition
